Yes, bring extra photocopies of documents. RRB usually attaches one set to your file and may return duplicates. Always bring more copies than required.
You might face rejection or your case may go into adjudication. RRB will consider the DOB in your High School certificate as the official one. Clarify discrepancies with your documentary proof.
A basic fitness test is conducted at DV involving height, weight, vision, hearing, and general medical examination. Detailed medical tests happen later at Railway hospital for selected candidates.
Typically, 80-90% of candidates clear DV if their documents are in order. Rejection is rare unless documents are fraudulent or candidate is medically unfit.
RRB provides an appeal process. If rejected due to document issues, you can file an appeal with supporting evidence to the concerned RRB within the specified deadline.
Usually 1-2 weeks after DV completion, candidates are called for detailed medical examination. Medical clearance is final before appointment order issuance.
